FamilySearch is the free-to-use genealogy website that is run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Genealogists of any faith, or who have no religious beliefs, are welcome to use the website. It updates frequently with new resources. Here is what’s new at FamilySearch this week. FamilySearch volunteers are still working on the 1940 Census Index Project. A blog post on July 6, 2012, reports that the effort is “Going Strong”. Hoarding Can Run in Families

I’ve been watching the television show called “Hoarders” lately, and am completely amazed by it. What I find most striking is that many of the people who are hoarders say that someone else in their family, often one of their parents, was a hoarder, too.
