Others Serving Up a Warm Thanksgiving Dinner

Yesterday, I blogged about celebrities taking time to serve up a Thanksgiving dinner to the needy. But, celebrities weren’t the only ones giving up their time and money to serve those who were hungry. In Albany, New York, Equinox, a community service organization, offer up its 42nd annual Thanksgiving dinner to about 9,000 people. About 500 showed up at the First Presbyterian Church to eat while another 8,500 meals were delivered to homebound residents. Do You Have An Ancestral Quirk?

Yesterday at Thanksgiving, my mother said something that made me think. Everyone was beginning to arrive at our house and I was in the kitchen preparing the meal. The entry door is in our kitchen, so people were coming in and removing their shoes and coats.
